Ratio Calculator

Ratios are used often in day to day life for working out the odds of something happening, how much more or less of an ingredient you might need and plenty more applications you may have run into. This Ratio Calculator lets you know how to convert large numbers into Ratios based on smaller figures, to save you lots of time and headaches.

Examples:

60% + 30% + 40% + 70% = 200% / 4 = 50%

20% + 40% + 80% = 140% / 3 = 46.667%

But what if all the percentages in my dataset are not all the same sample size? Don’t worry, this Calculator can work with that as well and give you an accurate average percentage. It will ask you to define the sample size of each percentage in your series; then times each percentage by the corresponding number and divide those percentages by the total of all the numbers you put in added together to determine the average percentage.

Examples:

20% * 400 + 40% * 300 + 80% *100
400 + 300 + 100
=
8000% + 12000% + 8000%
800
=
28000%
800
=
35%
